Our Farming Philosophy
Why Our Farm Is Different
At Among the Trees Botanical Lavender Farm, everything we create begins with a deep respect for the land. Our farm is guided by regenerative practices, pollinator-friendly plantings, and a commitment to never-spray farming to protect wildlife, the ecosystem, and the people who use our products.
While our farm continues to grow and develop, we thoughtfully source high-quality botanical ingredients that align with our values. Whenever possible, we prioritize ingredients that are responsibly grown and produced with care for the environment.
Rather than large-scale production, we focus on small-batch craftsmanship. Each botanical product is carefully blended and created to reflect the rhythms of the seasons and the natural beauty of the plants themselves.
At Among the Trees Botanical Lavender Farm, we believe healthy soil creates healthy plants. Our farm is guided by regenerative farming practices that focus on building soil health, supporting biodiversity, and working with the natural rhythms of the land.
Across the farm you’ll find pollinator gardens, native plants, and permaculture-inspired plantings designed to support bees, butterflies, birds, and beneficial insects. Instead of relying on chemical sprays, we practice never-spray farming to help protect wildlife, pollinators, the surrounding ecosystem, and the people who use our products.
This approach takes patience and observation, but we believe it’s the best way to farm. By working with nature and relying on time-tested, native solutions, we aim to care for the land while offering our customers botanicals crafted with integrity and respect for the natural world.
Farming among the trees means listening closely to the land and stewarding it with care for future generations.

Come for the Experience
Among the Trees is a small family run lavender farm tucked into the hills of Goldendale, Washington. Lavender fields meet the shade of tall trees on land that has never been grazed. We use no spray methods and plant for pollinators first, so each harvest respects the soil, the bees, and your body. Throughout the year we open the farm for seasonal workshops and creative gatherings, from wreath making and botanical crafts to small group farm days. Each visit is designed to help you slow down, get your hands into beautiful materials, and reconnect with nature through simple handmade living.
